A common issue for Subaru's seems to be the dash fault lights illuminated along with the "check engine" light; the VDC(vehicle dynamic control) light and a flashing "cruise control" light. I found-out that anytime the check eng. light comes on, the other 2 do also, as these systems are disabled to protect them.After leaving the Service center I went less than 5 miles and the oil light came on. Pull into Autozone and they'll read the code for you for free. One really common code is P0420 or "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold."
