I just checked my guide and it says that the Chaos Blade has a "B" in Dex scaling although you are right about the health and damage. So I guess for TC it all matters what you'd like: Chaos Blade at +5 does 199 damage with B Dex scaling and does 36 bleed per strike. Iaito does 33 bleed per strike, 220 damage at +15, and has B Dex scaling.Chaos blade definitely has a great (if somewhat niche) purpose against bosses. You have to remember that chaos weapons scale with humanity, so at 40 dex with 10 humanity it deals 450 damage, making it the heaviest hitting katana in the game.
